How to use Protect PDF
Add your PDF file

Choose a strong password
Use a passphrase of several words rather than a short word. Encryption is only as strong as the secret behind it.
Encrypt the document
The PDF is re-written with standard PDF encryption applied to its contents, entirely inside your browser.
Download your protected PDF
A result card appears directly under the upload box. Press the download button and the protected PDF is saved to your device immediately. The upload area stays open, so you can process another file without reloading the page.
