About PDF to Excel

PDF to Excel lifts tabular data out of a PDF into an .xlsx workbook, so figures trapped in a bank statement or report can be sorted, summed and charted again.

How to use PDF to Excel

  1. Add your PDF file

Drag your PDF file onto the upload area at the top of the page, or tap it to browse your device. You can also pick a file straight from a phone or tablet — the interface adapts to small screens.

  2. Columns are detected

Text is read with its exact position on the page, and items sharing a horizontal position are grouped into the same spreadsheet column.

  3. One sheet per page

Each PDF page becomes its own worksheet, which keeps multi-page statements easy to navigate.

  4. Download your .xlsx workbook

A result card appears directly under the upload box. Press the download button and the .xlsx workbook is saved to your device immediately. The upload area stays open, so you can process another file without reloading the page.

Key features & benefits

Position-aware extraction

Columns are reconstructed from coordinates rather than guessed from spaces, which keeps numbers in the right cells.

Real spreadsheet cells

Values arrive as editable cells you can total and filter, not as one pasted text block.

Multi-page structure

Long reports stay organised because every page lands on a separate sheet.

Scan detection built in

If the PDF has no text layer, you are told immediately instead of downloading an empty workbook.
